$146.00

Shipping to United States: $9.99

This modern statement necklace blends clean geometry with natural texture for a striking, contemporary look. The long chain is composed of bold rectangular metal links with an industrial, brushed finish, creating strong lines and a sculptural silhouette that frames the neckline beautifully.

At the center, a row of earthy stone-like glass beads adds warmth and organic contrast. The lampworked glass beads feature natural marbling and crackle-like patterns in soft ivory, charcoal, and muted gray tones, accented with dark spacer beads that ground the design. The mix of structured metal and natural stone-like beads creates a balanced piece that feels both modern and grounded. There is no clasp, as this necklace will fit over your head when wearing.

Designed for lovers of minimalist and artisan jewelry alike, this necklace pairs effortlessly with simple tops, tunics, or dresses, allowing its form and texture to take center stage.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long have you been working with glass?

Over 30+ years. I’ve always loved glass and working with it as stained glass or sandblasting glass designs or fusing all types of glass has been my artistic life. I Live for Glass!

Where do you live?

I’m located in Minnesota, USA. The frozen tundra has always been my home. I love the winter and the snow floating down while drinking my tea and reading a good book.

Have you been to any in-person classes?

Yes, many over the last 30 years. You can learn a lot watching UTube videos but you can’t ask questions and get answers from a video. So in-person classes are the best form of learning but can be expensive, so in-person classes are less often attended.

Does your family help you create art?

My hubby has made metal stands for some of my glass designs in the past, which needed a stand to display. But as we age I tend to get my stands now from younger artists who have metal work experience.

Do you display at outdoor art shows?

Years ago I showed my art at outside art fairs but the strength and energy involved became too much the older I got so I don’t display at fairs any longer. Online is the best way for older artists to sell their art.

Do you make functional art?

Yes, I believe that art can be beautiful and functional. Instead of having art someone can only look at. I like creating art that can also be used. Then you have both beauty and usefulness.

Why fused glass?

Glass teaches patience. It teaches release. The kiln always has the final word — and I’ve learned to love that. I make functional art because beauty shouldn’t sit behind glass — it should be held, used, lived with.
